Job Definition:

  • Works with IT, SI's and business teams to develop and maintain world-class application in S4 HANA. The architect will enforce coding standards and ensure the developed objects perform optimally without consuming too many system resource.
  • The resource will also need to work hands on in developing and troubleshooting high complex programs and objects across various modules in S4 HANA.
Responsibilities:
  • Participates as a member of and leads development teams. Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements. Prepares code stubs for others. Completes code to implement solutions. Designs solutions for others to code. Participates in cross-functional teams. Leads design activities May provide mentoring and guidance to other developers. Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests. Represents team to client/customers.
  • Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team. Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems. Contributes to strategic direction for teams.
  • Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (e.g. Database Administration).
  • Performs solution design. Applies the company and 3rd party technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
  • Independently implements end- user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
  • Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers. Mentors and consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT / Engineering or related discipline with over 10 years of experience implementing SAP solutions in a senior technical role.
  • Strong experience in SAP technical areas using ABAP in one or more core SAP modules from Master Data, Order Management, Procurement, Supply Chain to Finance.
  • Knowledge and experience of coding in S4 Hana environment is mandatory.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Minimum 1 - 3 full life cycle global implementations (Prior experience defining/implementing worldwide solutions across multiple legal entities in a highly complex systems and project environment) including hands-on design and development.
  • Deep knowledge in O-Data Services, CDS Views, AMDP, Web Services, OOPS ABAP development and troubleshooting, BAPI's
  • EDI & ALE
  • SAP Implicit and Explicit Enhancements, BADI's
  • Performance optimization - ABAP and SQL traces including AMDP, CDS view analysis. ATC
  • HANA optimization (NUMA threads & memory consumption), workload class management
  • Knowledge in Fiori
  • Significant experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex integrated applications, deep knowledge in data model of various SAP applications and table structure is essential.
  • Knowledge of basic system administration tasks such as database analysis, tracing issues, identifying performance bottlenecks is required.
  • Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and modern software development methodologies
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills, Excellent consulting skills, Demonstrated leader, Self-confident.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills of complex and technical concepts. Demonstrates strong command of the English language.
  • High internal drive/self-initiative; Ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information; Resourceful.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills; Work well in a team environment
  • Experience of multiple full release cycles. Understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team
