WSFS Bank is currently seeking an SBA Loan Packager/Closer. The primary responsibility of the SBA Loan Closer is to provide operational support for the Bank’s SBA lending initiatives as well as to serve as a point of contact for customers in the SBA loan approval process. The incumbent will be responsible for processing SBA loan files in accordance with both Bank and SBA policies and requirements. The incumbent will track and obtain outstanding items needed to submit loan packages for SBA approval. The incumbent will create and maintain files to comply with SBA 10 tab requirements that contain borrower information and financials. The SBA Loan Closer will gather and review information provided by borrowers and prepare SBA loan closings. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing borrower credit and third party reports to support the underwriting process for SBA loans. This role will be responsible for the post-closing documentation review and will work closely with attorneys and other loan servicing staff to maintain quality of file. The incumbent will also as a primary point of contact for SBA Relationship Managers, customers, title companies, and insurance agents.

This is a full-time exempt position typically working Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, EST in the Philadelphia, PA office, remote working considered outside of the Philadelphia tri-state area.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SBA or commercial lending operational support.
• Must have a working knowledge of SBA rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Must have a working knowledge of the SBA approval process.
• Must have proven superior customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent listening ability and presentation skills.
• Must have knowledge and understanding on SOP.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.
• Incumbent may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
• The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, see, read and write.
• This position requires regular lifting and moving of 10-25 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Incumbent must also have the ability to count accurately and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
