Shift: 1st

This position pays $39.75/hour and is paid weekly!

The Scale Technician is responsible for set up, checks, tests, & adjusts weighing scales and related weighing equipment to ensure accuracy for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and insure reliability of scales in the plant.
• Perform calibrations as needed on scales.
• Assist electrical technician and automation technicians as needed with projects and corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain certifications for scales and be able to obtain one if they do not already have one.
• Assist maintenance team as needed.
• Work with USDA at startup and thru out the day to ensure scale function.
• Validate all scales at startup of the plant.
• Predictive maintenance with scan tools.
• Assist planners with planning for repairs that come from predictive maintenance.

Requirements:
Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Scale certifications are strongly preferred.
Experience: 2 plus years of scale experience preferred. Strong maintenance and electrical background preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: less than 5%

Must reside in the United States to be considered.
