Job Description

  • Analyze project requirements to ensure that essential work activities are identified in sufficient detail to serve as the basis for developing realistic project schedules;
  • Define project work and a cost breakdown structure to develop a baseline of schedules based on actual and forecast data for each project;
  • Define the necessary resources for project completion while evaluating labor productivity;
  • Maintain schedule integrity by communicating with Project Managers, Team, and stakeholders;
  • Monitor issues that could delay timelines;
  • Identify potential changes in scope and quantify the impact of each change on the overall schedule;
  • Produce high level scheduling reports that look ahead one (1), three (3) and six (6) months;
  • Prepare and update progress reports;
  • Develop schedule-benchmarking reports;
  • Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules;
  • Conduct required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for each project as a whole;
  • Analyze deviations from the Project Master Schedule, highlight delays and propose corrective actions to minimize those delays;
  • Coordinate multiple sources of schedule inputs and performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports;
  • Implement the schedule strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations;
  • Maintain the overall integrity of contractor schedules within the overall Program Suite of project schedules; and
  • Track and monitor sequences/completion of construction work activities.

Qualifications

Education an Experience Requirement: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Related Field and 4 years of experience in job offered or 4 years of experience in the Related Occupation.

Related Occupation:

Consultant or any other job title performing the following job duties:

  • Maintaining schedule integrity by communicating with Project Managers, Team, and stakeholders;
  • Identifying potential changes in scope and quantify the impact of each change on the overall schedule;
  • Preparing and updating progress reports;
  • Implementing the schedule strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations;
  • Maintaining the overall integrity of contractor schedules within the overall Program Suite of project schedules; and
  • Tracking and monitoring sequences/completion of construction work activities.
