Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Scientist/Engineer
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 12+ months of contract
Location: West Point, PA

Responsibilities:
• Setup process equipment for lab-scale experiments
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions and culture media
• Perform lab-scale downstream processing of vaccine process intermediates
• Perform process monitoring assays • Analyze, collate, track, and report data back to client staff members
• Maintain records and test results following good laboratory practices (GLP)
• Work independently and efficiently
• Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
• Communicate effectively with client staff members.

Qualifications: Education:
• B.S. in Biochemical Engineering (versus biochemistry, pharmaceutical research, etc). Chemical Engineers, Biochemical Engineers and Biomedical engineers Biochemistry, or related science
• 0-3 years work experience
• At least six months related laboratory experience preferably performing biologics purification steps
• General laboratory skills, experience with pipettes
• Experience with chromatography or membrane operations such as tangential flow filtration is preferred
• Experience using formulas and linking spreadsheets in Excel

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
