RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Scrum Master in Boca Raton, Florida (FL).Summary:The primary responsibility of the Scrum Master is coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and facilitating team delivery on sprint goals. You will be working closely with team and product owner, peer Scrum Masters, and Project Managers to support sprint and release planning, foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making, and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will manage and deliver IT and business solutions using Scrum framework best practices.Responsibilities include:

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Scrum Master will lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
• Scrum Master will resolve conflicts and issues that occur
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed
• Scrum Master will manage each project's scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g., from customers or stakeholders)
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Scrum Master will resolve conflicts, remove obstacles that occur, and help teams implement changes effectively
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the field
• Business analysis certification is a plus (e.g., CBAP)
• Agile/Scrum master certification or understanding/proven record of working in this framework
• 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and best practices
• Understanding of the traditional Software Development Life Cycle model and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of project management and BA toolsets, including Microsoft Project
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for effective communication to clients and project team members; Including prior experience writing white papers, proposals, research reports, articles, and case studies
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent analytical skills to facilitate troubleshooting system and business process issues
• Ability to create SQL statements to extract, analyze, and update data where necessary
• Understanding of the end-to-end staffing business
• Demonstrated aptitude towards analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess relevant facts, identify alternative approaches, and supply recommended solutions
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
• Ability to help organize JIRA backlog and manage offshore resources
• Familiarity with E-Recruit and ABLE
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
