How You'll Make A Difference:

The Carowinds Security Department is responsible for monitoring park property and enforcing policies which allows Guests and associates to have a FUN and stress-free day. The work is often fast-paced and can be demanding at times.

 

A large part of the Acesss Associate position is monitoring the entrance and exit of guests and associates by checking identification, performing bag checks and metal detection screenings. Guest service is a high priority for this job as the job requires constantly interacting with guests and associates alike.

 

• Monitors guests through metal detection, bag inspections, & health screenings
• Inspects packages, bags, and personal items at park entrances
• Enforces park policies and entry procedures related to metal detection

 

We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
