Arullk Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced full stack developer to be part of a remote team developing and maintaining enterprise data systems. This is a telecommuting (remote) role and is full-time with benefits.

Our desired candidate has strong skills in Angular, Java, Spring, and Hibernate, and has an interest in emerging technologies and expanding their skill set. We would also consider applicants with experience in React or Vue in lieu of our preferred technologies. Applicants with less than the minimum technical requirements may be considered for other positions.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the development, enhancement and maintenance of a Java, Spring, Hibernate and Angular web application for an enterprise data system
  • Willingness to expand and grow technical roles and responsibilities
  • Participate in requirements gathering and analysis
  • Work within a test-driven development process
  • Ability to provide and accept feedback in a constructive manner
  • Ability to work within a distributed, multi-site development team while adhering to the Agile methodology
  • Ability to work independently and transform wireframes and documentation into viable code iteratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • May require optional travel to the Denver, CO area
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Technical Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or comparable work experience
  • 5+ years minimum professional experience with Java, Spring & Hibernate
  • 3+ years professional experience with Angular or similar technologies
  • Experience with RESTful services, JSON and service design concepts
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and mocking
  • Experience with GIT and Gradle or similar technologies
  • Experience with UML documentation and similar artifacts (class diagrams, API documentation, sequence diagrams, ER diagrams, etc.)
Preferred Skills
  • Full stack development
  • Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • ESRI ArcGIS Server, RESTful services
  • SOLR
  • PostgreSQL
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
