The Global Investigations group champions team members to utilize their experience and unique skillsets within our diverse portfolio of work ranging from allegations of improper financial reporting, accounting fraud, bribery, or other corporate malfeasance. You will gain experience in how to interact with regulators, auditors, and investors who require timely and credible answers to questions that arise in such situations. Assisting clients with compliance needs for various regulatory agencies and mandates is a key service we provide to clients. Job Responsibilities

As a Member, You Will

J.S. Held is searching for Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Directors to join our Global Investigations team.

• Conduct financial investigations, assist in regulatory compliance, data analysis, technical accounting research, background interviews, asset searches and fund tracing.
• Create Excel schedules using financial information provided, including but not limited to review detailed accounting records, invoices and purchase orders, organize supporting documentation, and input/organize data to perform necessary analysis.
• Assist in inputting financial data and organize large amounts of financial data - both paper and electronic to be used in review.
• Communicate results of analysis to supervisors and/or clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in the preparation or prepare engagement work plans, working papers, project documentation, progress reports, draft and final reports and written narratives to be sent to clients.
• Design, organize, and deliver client proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree.
• Consulting, law enforcement or public accounting experience or closely related field at all levels; preferably with some experience incompliance and/or investigations, strong technical and research skills
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is required for accountants. CPA preferred. Other forensic accreditation considered plus (CFE, CFF, ABV).
• Candidates must be resourceful, critical thinkers, and take initiative.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with ability to do VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas. And/or ability to research, retrieve, prepare, and analyze structured and unstructured information.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $160,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
