JOB SUMMARY

The Credit Analyst is accountable for the entire credit granting and collections process, including the consistent application of company credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing sales growth and accounts receivable aging.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures
• Manage the credit application process. Perform the customer credit review process and financial analysis for both new and continuing
• Manage the entire customer base to ensure proper customer setup at the purchasing level, bill to level, and credit level
• Stay informed of market changes in customer ownership
• Reports on portfolio dynamics and performs assigned month end reporting
• Monitor customer payment trends, business activities which can lead to payment behavior issues
• Identify and participate in cross-functional and internal process improvement initiatives
• Ensure corporate credit policy followed
• Maintain customer credit files
• Manage relations with Experian credit reporting agency; oversee both Boral contributions to Experian, and portfolio reporting from Experian.
• Coordinating referrals to 3rd party collections firm
• Support to AR team for forthcoming integrations and ERP conversions
