The Senior Director, Training/Education leads the DaVita Kidney Care Clinical Education & Training team.

This Senior Director position oversees the development, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs for front line clinical kidney care Teammates, across all modalities (in-center, home and acute setting therapies).

The role focuses in on both national team delivery means as well as local market execution through the preceptor program. The role works with Kidney Care operations, clinical and learning executive leadership to offer new or adjust existing programs based on business needs and provides formal metrics on the program(s) performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives the delivery of PCT/RN/LPN initial onboarding training programs by providing clear direction and strategy of current and future state training products

• Identifies, analyzes, and drives continuous improvement opportunities of educational offerings; distills business insights to recommend and drive continuous improvement

• Collaborates cross-functionally with operations, People Services, Innovations, Clinical support and Wisdom departments to enhance the TM experience, proficiency and experience of the clinical onboarding experience

• Manages, develops, and trains a team of clinical and non-clinical education teammates

• Participates in the development and management of capital budgets on an ongoing basis

• Other duties as assigned.

• Up to 75%, including travel to our live training classes across the country

Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in education, business, or related field (Masters preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise in effectively teaching adult learners with different learning styles
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; Advance proficiency in a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Active member of training and development professional organizations (e.g. ATD, Training Magazine)
• Demonstrated expertise in organizing and speaking at large corporate meetings
• Clinical experience in nephrology nursing or care management
• RN license in state of practice & Nephrology or Case Management experience a plus but not required.
