RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Director - Product Development in Fort Lauderdale, FL.Responsibilities:

• Help define product development execution plans
• Work very closely with customers, operations, and sales to make sure we incorporate customer input into our products and define requirements to meet technical options
• Lead a team of developers to work on specific projects that you prioritize with input from Product Manage, Sales and Operations
• Create a clear specification for your team goals and manage the people and projects successfully to completion
• Communicate effectively with senior management and project managers, timelines, and objectives
• Work with product management, product architecture, user experience to estimate the efforts, and quality management teams to define project tasks, resource requirements, goals and deliverables
• Leverages Agile and Scrum methodologies to plan, manage and track project teams and deliverables
• Manages daily SCRUM, Sprint Planning, Sprint deliverables according to plan and milestones
• Work with the process owners and project teams to create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities need to successfully complete the project
• Drive project plan, metrics, specifications, design, development, integration, verification, validation and launch of solutions consistent with our Quality Management processes
• Utilize project management best practices with consistency in support of product realization activities to deliver high quality solution with compliance
• Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path; Tracks and Reports slippages with workable mitigation plans; Maintains plans showing key deliverables, milestones, and dependencies
• Communicate project progress on a regular basis to stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or Information Systems; Masters preferred
• 15+ years of product development experience in a Product Development Lifecycle management services company
• 10+ years of experience in project management
• Should have developed web applications in healthcare using .NET platform and SQL server using SOA architecture
• Experience developing Mobile applications for life sciences using platform agnostics tools like Xamarin
• Ability to provide guidance and direction in technology issues to development team members
• Proven ability to motivate and lead teams through full project cycles; Experience managing all phases of the product development life cycle (desired experience includes transitioning product development efforts to product manufacturing)
• Exposure to and/or understanding of leading teams in a medical, FDA regulated environment - demonstrated experience managing quality documents, processes, and deliverables
• The Director of Development must have a thorough knowledge of a wide range of latest tools and programming languages, design patterns including Mobile platforms
• The Director of development must have attained a high degree of expertise in application development with .NET core technology stack, Mobile app development tools, etc.
• A sound and thorough knowledge of various database platforms such as SQL Server, No-SQL
• Ability to liaise with all levels of personnel both internal and external
• Experience managing teams over 15 development team members
• Ability to effectively and proactively present project status and issues to management team
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
