Role objective
This key role on the Hays U.S. Engagement & People Services team implement initiatives to create and maintain a positive, rewarding work environment, a strengthened sense of belonging, fostering a happier, healthier, more fulfilled workforce, leading to enhanced productivity and innovation. This requires building solid partnerships with People & Culture, America's Marketing, global communications, and business operations' teams.
Key result overview
Support people engagement efforts, projects and/or programs that align to our Engagement & People Experience strategy:
- Support company-wide and People & Culture led ED&I efforts
- Support and organize People Engagement initiatives
- Coordinate and lead Reward & Recognition programs
- Responsible for the coordination of company-wide people events
- Partners closely with Communications to effectively communicate initiatives and events
- Program and project development, implementation, and support of various engagement initiatives
Key responsibilities Support ED&I efforts: - Organize, facilitate and support People Resource Groups (PRGs)
- Facilitate initial startups, develop training and processes for creating groups, and communication of groups/meetings/contacts, etc.
- Expand PRGs by recruiting PRG leaders, support PRG launch and gain traction to then run independently
- Ensure PRG alignment to ED&I objectives. Monitor to ensure groups remain healthy and honor our vision and promise
- Lead Community (Hays Helps) Committee by providing guidance, updates, and best practices.
- Organize, coordinate, develop agendas for each committee meeting
- Ensure community events align to Global objectives
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Americas Hays Helps U.S. representative to support America's initiatives
- On the ground U.S. support for Hays Net Zero initiative
- Coordinate Days of Giving and companywide service projects
- Track service hours, dollars given, organizations served, and report regularly
- Lead Social Committee to encourage inclusion by diversity of social activities in local markets
- Develop/lead companywide social events; share best practices, share creative ideas
- Track and report updates, actions, progress
- Organizational and logistical support of ED&I Committee
- Support Celebrating People & Wellbeing programs
- Design activities, create and coordinate activities, engage the business to participate
- Collaborate with Internal Communications, Marketing, various Committees and Leadership
- Liaise with National Outreach Partner Organization; partner and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to regularly discuss strategy and goals, monitor progress and highlight challenges, and support various initiatives and activities
Employee Engagement - Refresh, organize and maintain Life@Hays intranet pages
- Manager New Hire Engagement Surveys
- Send weekly surveys to employees that attain the required employee milestone
- Prepare survey trend reports
Rewards and Recognition - Manage Rewards & Recognition program and projects
- Manage Rewards and Recognition efforts
- Facilitate quarterly "Living the Values" nomination process across all Hays US
- Facilitate quarterly "Rising Star" nomination process across Hays US leadership
- Facilitate P&C Hero of the Month process
Event Coordination - Plan and execute annual kick-off meeting, collaborating closely with CEO and CPO
- Maintain detailed project plan to ensure all tasks are executed correctly and on time. Develop and maintain budget to ensure costs are known and within approved parameters
- Collaborate with Senior Leaders to ensure presentations are engaging and finalized according to schedule
- Engage vendors and suppliers, coordinate travel and lodging for Hays attendees
- Coordinate annual award trips
- Engage vendors and suppliers, coordinate travel and lodging for Hays award winners and board
- Coordinate Day of Giving, Think Big events and other company-wide events as needed
- Other event coordination as needed
