Position Summary
Support Engineering projects providing technical guidance and managing subcontractors responsible for design and integration activities; Ensure accurate and timely technical information flows between subcontractors; Analyze technical artifacts for accuracy and compliance; Ensure technical exchanges are properly documented and most current information is easily accessible; Manage subcontractor development progress and support efforts to ensure design milestones are achieved; Lead design IPTs/milestone reviews; Provide design guidance and/or deconflict work allocation between subcontractors
This position can be remote along with travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for leading engineering projects from concept to implementation with a focus on maintaining system operations, design of modifications, and installation of mission equipment payloads (MEP).
- Will oversee engineering change proposals (ECPs), manage subcontractor activities, and interact with the government customer as needed.
- Coordinate test readiness reviews (TRRs) and plan resources for ground/flight testing events.
- Responsible for supporting configuration management efforts for multiple aircraft configurations.
- Technical expertise will be utilized to support all functions of the program management office (PMO) i.e.; contracts, configuration management, logistics.

Knowledge and Skills The required skills and knowledge include:
The minimum years of related experience required:
- 10 years of experience in aircraft systems integration management required.
- Technical experience in EMARSS variants or other ISR aircraft platforms.
- Capable of working in an autonomous Program Management environment, working with other IPT members responsible for Integrated Logistics Support, Information Systems Security, and Program Management as well as working independently.
- Capable of explaining highly technical topics to customer managers in both oral and written forms.
- Understanding of system architecture drawings and signal flow diagrams.
- Possess the ability to analyze vendor system architecture solutions.
- Must be able to board aircraft while on the ground.
Education The minimum level of education required is:
- Engineering/Aviation related degree or years of relevant experience to suffice in place of degree
Desired Requirements The desired skills, knowledge, and education include
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Engineering or Aviation related field
- PMP Certification
Other QualificationsOutside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- 10% CONUS and/or OCONUS travel required.
