We will count on you to:
  • Participate in complex client engagements, including assisting with overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking and other studies
  • Assist senior consultants with reviewing client needs, recommending suitable approaches, and helping implement benefit program strategies
  • Manage team activities within the full scope of services provided to the client and direct work to team members within the client team according to roles/responsibilities
  • Delegate, guide and coach junior staff and peer review their work
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret health care data for reporting to the client
  • Develop an awareness of the insurance vendor marketplace, plan designs, health care cost factors, and the renewal process for health and group benefit programs.
  • Coordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of a client
  • Help write and structure client communications, including proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and subject matter experts, as well as develop relationships with clients
  • Interact with carriers and vendors to gather quotes, negotiate, handle client service issues and review plan documentation
  • Monitoring the success of projects in terms of scope, budget, timeliness and client satisfaction

What you need to have:
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in identifying, designing, recommending and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex health care benefits challenges
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, both independently and in a team environment
  • Capacity to multitask, manage competing priorities with strong time management skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong business acumen paired with intellectual curiosity
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The applicable base salary range for this role is $83,500 to $167,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
