Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, service-oriented individual who wants to be part of an evolving HR team in a dynamic, fast-paced company. You will be supporting our employees in all areas of Human Resources such as policy development, performance management, employment law compliance, employee relations, and department development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaison between management and employees by handling questions and interpreting and administering policies.
  • Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
  • Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures, including maintaining employee handbooks. Provide recommendations to policy or procedure changes accordingly.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state and federal employment law keeping the HR team apprised of any changes.
  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of proposed legislation and rule changes; propose policy/procedural changes as necessary.
  • Assist and counsel managers on human resources and employment issues.
  • Conduct investigations on employee, customer and vendor complaints, including, but not limited to, harassment, discrimination and violation of company policies.

Required skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency using HRIS systems and Microsoft suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
