Job Description Summary
Sr. HR Business Partner provides strategic partnership and hands on support to the National V&A Team, National Capital Markets and designated East Region populations to deliver people initiatives that drive business results through people initiatives both now and in the future. Additionally, this role will work with HR leadership on key HR initiatives and projects relative to integration, change management and implementation of HR best practices.
Job Description

  • Key strategic advisor and business partner to senior leadership for assigned groups
  • Partner with strategic stakeholders to help establish and execute on the long-term people vision including driving future organizational design and change management initiatives to maintain a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Drive talent strategy including talent acquisition, retention, engagement and development
  • Coach senior leaders to actively manage change and improve organizational effectiveness through workforce strategy, org. design and talent planning
  • Ensure proper coaching of managers to improve employee performance and engagement
  • Create and execute against workforce planning in coordination with centers of expertise
  • Develop, lead and shape a wide range of HR initiatives that supports C&W and key strategic priorities of creating a high performance culture and operational excellence
  • Promote and Champion our core values, DE&I I goals, and enact the values of diversity, equity and inclusion by promoting representational diversity in our workforce, and fostering an equitable and welcoming environment where people from diverse backgrounds can participate and thrive. Act as a steward to ensure that all decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with those values and goals
  • Lead performance management efforts in designated groups to help us identify high and low performers, promote and reward excellence, and drive continuous, transparent feedback across all disciplines
  • Compensation - Ensure competitiveness and alignment with regional HR plans; streamline compensation schemes for V&A and Capital Markets teams.
  • Workforce and succession planning - in close cooperation with the leadership and local HR teams, identify future resourcing needs, build succession plans and proactively identify Recruitment - Support recruiting process for most senior/critical positions in the region, and liaise with in-country recruiting teams to drive recruitment at a local level.
  • Talent development - Manage talent review process, performance management, and employee development programs
  • Deliver an exceptional quality of service to the leadership team, as reflected by stakeholder feedback
  • Compilation and analysis of people data to drive decision making
  • Project Management
  • Work with broader HR team on a wide variety of global HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to: compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition integration.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Bachelor's degree with major concentration in business-related field; advanced degree preferred, but not required

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role, Professional HR Certification desired

• Strong business acumen

• Exhibits excellent negotiating and influencing skills

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Savvy at building partnerships at all levels of the organization and must be viewed as a trusted advisor to the business. Possess a high EQ.

• Demonstrate confidence in coaching and influencing senior management

• Strong understanding of financial implications and risks associated with talent decisions.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly matrix environment

• Analytical with strong project management skills

• Must have high energy, excellent communication skills, be professional and polished

• Self-starter, able to work independently, takes ownership
