About the Role

In this role you will develop the tools necessary to keep our company's assets and information secure, including Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Product Security, Defensive Engineering, and Identity and Access Management.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Design, Build and Support Gap's Access Management solutions
  • Design solutions for ongoing business requirements around access management - Single Sign On (SSO), identity federation, and other authentication solutions
  • Hands-on implementation of SSO and other authentication solutions
  • Provide on-going support for the access management product suite
  • Create and maintain relevant artifacts (solution design, configurations, documentation etc.)
  • Contribute as an individual, collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Work as part of a team of security engineers in the Enterprise Identity team
  • Work with Architects, Application owners, Product managers to deliver solutions per Gap's access management standards
  • Work with 3rd parties/SaaS vendors on technical solutions
  • Work with other Information Security teams on providing holistic security solutions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Information security experience
  • 3+ years of experience implementing SSO and access management solutions
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Experience in Ping Identity suite of products - Ping Federate, Ping Access, Ping ID, Ping Directory
  • Experience with integrating using Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
  • Experience in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - soft/hard token solutions, OTP, PKI/Certificates,
  • Experience working on large, cross functional, globally distributed projects
  • Hands-on, results-oriented, delivery-driven individual requiring minimal guidance
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively to team members and across functional teams.
  • Ability to multi task, change focus based on prioritization, work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
  • Ability to influence the strategy in the SSO and Access Management space; with awareness about current industry best practices ​
  • Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH preferred
