We seek an ecommerce rockstar with a firmunderstanding of all things digital to join our digital marketing team. Thisperson will constantly challenge the status quo, keep a finger on the pulse ofthe digital marketing landscape of today with an eye toward future challengesand solutions. This is a role that will overseethe direct execution across the U.S., while providing best practices andsupporting Alterna's international success and global expansion.

YOUR ROLE

  • Be an e-commerce expert and champion for internal and external partners; oversee path-to-purchase, product listing, conversion rate, optimization, and search rank improvement
  • Work with the team to create strategy and drive execution for all things digital including social media, influencers, website, blog, and email blasts in addition to future digital activations with internal stakeholders and social/digital agencies
  • Partner with our Key Account Managers to accelerate our e-retail growth with key retailers such as, but not limited to, ULTA, Sephora, Amazon, Dermstore, Skinstore, etc.
  • Lead brand's marketing plans and execution for our recently launched corporate ecommerce platform
  • Understand the needs/nuances of each consumer segment within the ecommerce channel and identify opportunities to support and grow each segment
  • Optimize ecommerce product display pages and craft digital marketing tactics that drive brand awareness, traffic, and conversion
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; brand marketing, creative, trade marketing, sales, to achieve ambitious brand goals

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, marketing, or entrepreneurship), MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of ecommerce marketing experience essential
  • Strong experience in merchandising, vendor management, or business intelligence preferred
  • Ecommerce expert for internal and external partners with proven success in driving ecommerce growth in DtoC ecom and e-retail
  • Agile, entrepreneurial, collaborative and metrics-focused
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with the ability to execute
  • Passion for rapidly-evolving digital environment with the ability to adapt to meet current needs as well as look to the future to predict trends and develop solutions
  • Experience and understanding of path to purchase (acquisition, conversion, retention), segmentation, digital landscape and paid media
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Experience in consumer goods. Beauty experience is a plus
