The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics is responsible for monitoring and delivering clear, reliable digital marketing performance metrics, deriving actionable insight from complex business data, and leveraging data to understand and improve marketing business processes and initiatives.
The responsibilities of this position require both strategic and hands-on data analytics skills that include tag management, data collection, cross-channel data integration, reporting + Insights, dashboards, data visualization, data mining, predictive analytics that align marketing, CRM, sales, and service data.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee analytics program, including tagging maintenance, data collection, cross-channel data integration, reporting + Insights, dashboards, data visualization, data mining, audience segmentation, performance measurement, brand and competitive intelligence, and site surveys
  • Work collaboratively with business leaders to assess business needs and solutions, and implement a strategy for improving the reporting, analytic, and dashboard systems
  • Oversee the creation and hands-on development of monitoring, reporting and data discovery solutions using tools such as customer data platforms, DMP/DSP's, Google Analytics R, Spark, Hadoop, DOMO, Tableau, SQL, AWS, Azure, and ML Studio
  • Pro-actively work with the technical product, marketing, and project management teams to develop an understanding of business process and conceptualize dashboards, scorecards, and KPI development
  • Accountable for accurate and timely execution of ad-hoc, routine, and project-oriented metric and reporting needs of the company
  • Establish short-term and long-term metrics and goals for the department, including defining and enforcing data standards, governance, and best practices by supporting the review and approval of data definitions and business rules
  • Continually evaluate rationalization of reporting to identify redundancies, development of automated solutions, and efficiencies to minimize manual processes
  • Partner with IT and other internal solutions teams to build environment to perform analyses such as: advertising performance analysis, website analytics, customer segmentation, survey design and analysis, ROI modeling, CAC/lifetime value analysis, cross channel analysis and media mix cost analysis
  • Work with the Strategy & Planning teams to design, implement and measure KPIs for off-line and on-line marketing programs (including extensive web analytic)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Statistics, Math, or applicable field
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in an analytical role, ideally driving growth and/or developing customer insights and performance reporting
  • Strong understanding of analytics process - strategy, tracking, segmentation, reporting, analysis, actionable recommendations
  • Direct experience with using Marketing analytic tools: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google360, attribution and segmentation modeling
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, customer data platforms, DMP/DSP's, Google Analytics, R, Python and/or SQL
  • Experience working with various ETL tools (e.g., Tableau, DOMO, Informatica, Alteryx)
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL techniques
  • Advanced Excel experience required
  • Knowledge of data visualization, segmentation analytics, customer identity management, machine learning, and cognitive Computing concepts
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience in a DTC business that employed both traditional media (linear TV, radio, print, direct mail) and digital channels and used attribution and media mix models that were not "last click" - experience implementing and managing attribution methodologies
  • Strategic thinker who partners with teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders
  • Detail and action-oriented with the capability to manage numerous conflicting priorities
  • Self-starter with ability to solve ambiguous/open-ended business challenges and act as an advocate for change
  • Strong relationship management and team-oriented skills to lead and influence others in a cross-functional environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
