What you'll do...

As the Senior Manager, Operations - First Mile you will be responsible for program implementation and execution of Transportation remodels, expansions, and new construction projects. Partnering to obtain the strategy and vision, organizing project timelines and deliverables, stakeholder collaboration and communication on plan details and deliverables. Deliver on-time, cost-effective project solutions that align to the Transportation strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate tradeoffs, creating a sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective schedules for the execution of remodel / project deliverables. Implements plan requirements and organizes project timelines.
• Coordinates with internal and external teams to ensure plan schedules are communicated and impacts are clearly explained. Manage vendor relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective decisions are executed.
• Facilitates meetings involving stakeholder teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives. Takes corrective action as needed to drive project results.
• Communicates project plans and deliverables to key stakeholders. Collaborates and communicates with other stakeholders about project obstacles, timelines, and alignment with corporate strategies.
• Executes projects, monitor, and ensure resolution of outstanding issues. Work closely with cross functional partners, stakeholders, and suppliers to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics of individual projects against segment goals, including budget and compliance.
• Support Real Estate Finance with inputs designed to anchor goals in AOP/LRP.
• Provide leadership and guidance to your team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in transportation and logistics, operations, project management, or engineering.
• Proven track record of managing high visibility projects or professionals and delivering results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with leadership, internal and external partners, and 3rd party or suppliers.
• Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ability to manage a budget and deliver results within budget constraints.
