Altus Group is looking for a Senior Analyst to help build and elevate a best-in-class research program as part of establishing Altus Group as a leader in CRE intelligence. Reporting to the Research Director, the Senior Analyst will uncover and deliver commercial real estate insights via reports, presentations, whitepapers, webinars and other mediums with the goal of engaging current and prospective customers (predominantly investors, operators and developers).

The Senior Analyst will partner with senior leaders across Marketing, Communications and Altus Group's various business lines to produce commercial real estate insights, supporting the business priorities and press engagements and elevating Altus's reputation as a commercial real estate intelligence leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct original analysis to uncover relevant insights to be shared through published content.
• Author analytical research notes, articles, reports, and presentations to be published internally and externally.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from across Altus Group to produce co-authored content and identify key industry developments.
• Monitor important developments in the commercial real estate industry, capital markets, and the broader economy.
• Develop deep working knowledge across all major CRE property types and industry participants.
• Support the broader Research function by building and maintaining analytical tools, models, and templates.
• Generate ideas for further analysis and research.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects to support executive-led initiatives.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help guide Research production and form valuable insights.

Success measures:

• Volume of original research content produced (including notes, articles, reports, and presentations)
• Quality of analysis and insights
• Reception of research content published (e.g., engagement, readership, media mentions, reshares)
• Contribution to the Research Team's priorities and deliverables

Experience Required:

• +4 years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate, finance/investments, consulting, analytics
• Highly effective oral and written communications skills
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Solid understanding of capital markets and experience in financial modeling
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python is preferred
• Familiarity with working with public and proprietary data sources
• Natural curiosity, a methodical approach to investigating, and a deep-rooted interest in commercial real estate, finance, and economics
• Experience identifying trends, thinking about the market in innovative ways and translating ideas into timely and thoughtful deliverables
• Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task, succeed under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
