Senior Payroll Analyst

Our client in the telecommunications industry is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst on a long term basis. In this Senior Payroll Analyst role, duties will consist of assisting with the processing multiple bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now software. The Senior Payroll Analyst will also assist with time keeping and answering employee's questions on etime.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up new employees
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll
• Responsible for all aspects of timecard administration including new employee set up and security group assignments, monitoring supervisor approvals, password resets and transfer of data to payroll
• Processing of wage garnishments and tax levies
• Completing audits of payrolls to ensure accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years in Payroll experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Being able to work in a face-paced environment
• Strong team work Understanding of commissions
• Understanding and working knowledge of 401k and how benefits effect payroll.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar system
• Ability to work under pressure and a fast -paced environment
• Project Management skills
• Advanced excel skills
• Bachelor's degree and /or CPP /FPC or PHR/ SPHR certification
