The DTC Supply Planner works collaboratively to lead and deploy DTC planning strategies and capabilities. The planner's effectiveness will be measured in goals related to sales and supply chain. The candidate will manage the end to end S&OP process which, effectively will align sales efforts with production and capacity to optimize inventory and ship product on time to our customers. The candidate coordinates with distribution and planning teams to optimize go to market strategies in effort to drive sales and support end consumer experience with HBI brands. The role will leverage cross-functional teams and multiple data sources to drive business value through excellent analysis and process. This role will require developing and delivering strategic senior leadership presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the S&OP process related to demand and inventory needs across sales accounts
    • Review and maintain demand projections for major accounts at each fulfillment location
    • Review future plan viability, seeking out account plan changes monthly
    • Pass new demand signal to align with DC capacity planning team
  • Lead fulfillment optimization effort across DC network including sku management, demand projections, and inventory management
  • Lead Supply Chain relationship for demand needs to fulfillment locations
    • Work directly with planning teams to understand inventory timing or in-transit or WIP goods.
    • Ensure DTC demand signal is accurate and represented for corporate forecasting or product initiatives
  • Develop SME capabilities or current and new ERP capabilities related to demand planning and inventory management to ensure DTC needs and growth plans are accurately represented in the long-term demand forecast during transition
  • Support, develop, and continuously improve inventory reporting capabilities
  • Manage corporate inventory quality projects related to DTC fulfillment facilities

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
  • 4-year college degree, with major is required. CPIM or CSCP preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in some or all of the following: strategic supply chain design, demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, sales & operations planning, production planning, advanced scheduling, DRP, inventory optimization, and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in demand-based forecasting and data analysis
  • Advanced use of MS Office tools is required including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience working within ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
  • Demonstrated experience and mastery of manipulating, cleansing, aggregating, and compiling analytic data.
  • Ability to manage large datasets
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Innovative and independent thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and an entrepreneurial mentality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required, both for internal presentations and clearly written documentation.
  • Exhibits leadership and management skills, along with strong problem solving and communication abilities.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to take initiative and possess strong sense of urgency.
  • Drives collaborative teamwork within internal and cross functional acumens; ability to lead strategic and business planning for the broad set of stakeholders, identifying new opportunities to build and enhance relationships.
