Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to oversee the evaluation, implementation, and monitoring of manufacturing processes and operating systems for tissue paper production. The role involves providing essential engineering support to production teams, addressing process-related issues, and implementing corrective measures. The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in continuously enhancing efficiency, quality, and sustainability within our tissue paper production processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Develop and refine processes to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and efficiency standards.

•Utilize observations, measurements, and data analysis to monitor and enhance the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes.

•Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.

•Conduct equipment calibrations for mill and wastewater treatment systems.

•Research and recommend equipment or material upgrades to improve existing processes.

•Participate in mill/vendor meetings, trial planning, and cross-functional team meetings focused on process improvement and issue identification.

•Assist in budget development and potential laboratory capital expenditure (CAPEX) requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

•Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering.

•Minimum of five years of experience in the pulp and paper industry.

•Proficiency in manufacturing processes, including flows, layout, and production equipment.

•Experience in process control for water, steam, and paper mill chemicals.

•Previous experience as a paper machine leader.

•Knowledge and experience in Six Sigma methodologies.

•Expertise in process control for water, steam, and paper mill chemicals.

•Forward-thinking and innovative mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and technological advancements.

•Self-motivated individual with strong hands-on capabilities, eager to learn and apply new skills effectively.

•Highly organized with efficient work methods, capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
