Position Overview

Reporting directly to the VP, Product Management, Pricing & Analytics, the Senior Product Manager, Consumer Bundle Strategy & Termite Products will lead three major areas of concern:

1. Develop and lead the Consumer Bundle Strategy Process for the Product Management Organization, developing and designing processes and best practices for the overall Product Management team to create Product Bundle strategies for new and existing service offerings with the goal of attracting new and retaining existing customers.

2. Work closely with the Director, Consumer & Market Insights and Analytics to conduct testing of Product Bundle strategies and develop field communications in accordance with the aligned strategies.

3. Lead the mission-critical Termite Products category, focused on retention of existing customers and attracting new customers. As the CEO of their product, the Senior Product Manager owns profit and loss (P&L) of their assigned products and is responsible for leading their cross-functional team to achieve results. As a leader of a major product category, this position is responsible for clearly communicating roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and lead Consumer Bundle Strategy Process for the Product Management Organization
  • Partners with the Director, Consumer & Market Insights and Analytics to conduct Product Bundle testing
  • Takes ownership of the Termite product line in all aspects of the business
  • Manages in-life product performance - market share, sales, profitability, cancels, renewals, etc.
  • Leads a cross-functional team to support and drive the success of the Termite product line
  • Liaises with internal partners in strategic planning, promotions, positioning, and creative development
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regular communication.
  • Coordinate the front-end marketing work to assure that a new product is justifiable to the business
  • Develops and manages product roadmap, from concept through sun-setting and/or conversion. Identifies opportunities for process/business rule improvement to drive efficiency and results
  • Builds plans that represent all customers, internal and external
  • Identifies market, segment, and channel opportunities
  • Leads special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Business acumen
  • Focus on consumer needs, market conditions and competitive environment
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction
Preferred:
  • Master's degree
  • 10+ years of product management experience
  • Experience in the Consumer Services industry

Incumbent is required to have:
  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm's reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
