Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking to hire a Senior Project Accountant who will be responsible for project accounting and budget organization and set-up within our Deltek-Ajera ERP system. Our billing team consists of detail-oriented, accurate and highly organized project accountants who are able to manage multiple priorities while providing amazing internal and external customer service. They are able to adapt to the nuances of our clients' needs while promoting a positive and professional atmosphere.

*While it is desired that this position works from any of our 13 offices, we are open to considering a full-time remote worker.

What Do You Get to Do in This Position:

• Access and understand contracts, project schedules, budgets and commercial risks
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurately billing invoices are created
• Prepare monthly scheduled client invoices in coordination with Project Managers and under the supervision of the Billing Manager
• Authorize outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Track and report project budget versus actuals performance
• Understand general knowledge of project cost accounting and Work-in-Process
• Address project specific client and internal billing matters
• Input project subcontractor and other-direct-cost invoices
• Ensure client approval of invoices and timely payment
• Compile, store and retrieves data
• Participate in regular team meetings to help identify process flow improvements and efficiencies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy
• Perform various other accounting and administrative duties as required

This Job Might Be for You if You Have the Following:

• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Must have strong communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Must be experienced with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently
• Positive attitude who has a demonstrated track record of being a team player on a highly interdependent team

Desired:

• One or more years of Project Accountant experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry
• CRM experience
