We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Senior Scientist with a consistent track record of scientific excellence and project leadership experience in cancer biology to join our antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) portfolio team within the Early Oncology Discovery group in Gaithersburg, MD! As a Senior Scientist, you will be a key member of a team focused on bringing new ADC projects into the portfolio and advancing them through all stages of pre-clinical development. You will have a direct impact on the drug discovery process, both as a project leader and a hand on contributor in the lab. You will bring your theoretical and practical expertise to lead pipeline projects, establishing program priorities and working with a cross-functional team to deliver pre-clinical datasets to support pipeline progression. You will represent the team in front of governance committees and will present program updates at other internal forums. As part of the team, you will also make intellectual contributions to programs across the ADC Portfolio.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will be encouraged to serve as Oncology biology lead for one or more pipeline programs, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be expected to work in the laboratory, to develop, design, conduct, troubleshoot, and analyze in vitro experiments to assess the function of our ADCs and dissect the mechanism of action of these novel cancer therapeutics.
