Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Build well performing, sophisticated web applications and user-facing features. Leverage open-source frameworks such as ReactJS, Nodejs, and Bootstrap to build front end applications that are reusable. Utilize object-oriented JavaScript to assess system design and technical risks, identify areas of improvement, and suggest and implement solutions. Prepare technical implementation and project feasibility documents. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Troubleshoot business and production software issues and provide robust technical solutions to resolve the problem. Analyze, design, and modify software projects and/or products incorporating HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ATG (Advanced Technology Group), and AJAX as well as other Web 2.0 techniques.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience building performant SPA's using React, Redux, Next.js, NX, React Query, GraphQL, HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, and CSS3. Experience with testing frameworks React Testing Library and Jest. Experience with Business, Customer, and Technical requirements and assisting in analyzing the existing solutions to address the needs. Experience working collaboratively with other software engineers and teams to improve performance, stability, and resource consumption. Experience monitoring and debugging production applications using Splunk and Dynatrace to pinpoint root causes and fix bugs. Experience improving the quality of software systems using industry best practices for code quality, accessibility, and usability. Experience ensuring security policy requirements are properly applied to components and application during code development and configuration. Experience with executing test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entire component. Experience tracking and analyzing defects for the component and module and carrying out regression testing to fix defects in all instances of code changes. Experience participating in the discovery phase of small to medium projects to come up with a high-level design by partnering with the product management, Web Operations, project management, business, and user experience teams. Experience utilizing performance tuning and analytics tools including Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor and identify frontend performance issues and provide solutions to improve performance and scalability. Experience creating and maintaining continuous integration and deployment systems using Jenkins and Git. Experience with SEO techniques, SEO principles, and modern debugging skills. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $182,073/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
