Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Participate in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translate requirements into technical solutions; gather requested information; write and develop code; conduct unit testing; communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborate with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes; ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs; interact with project manager to provide input on project plan; and provide leadership to the project team. Work with a small group of four to six engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identify short- and long-term solutions and timeline; review and provide feedback for proposed solutions; and perform design and code reviews of changes. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information; engage support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulate an action plan; perform actions as designated in the plan; interpret the results to determine further action; perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and complete online documentation. Provide support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues; identify short- and long-term solutions; facilitate resolutions; and lead cross-functional partnership. Participate in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, business, and user experience teams; and obtain cross-function approvals. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs; and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Two years of experience evaluating, developing, and providing operational supporting to source code management tools including GitHub, Bitbucket, and SVN. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the following skills: Experience monitoring CI/CD tools performance using Grafana and Prometheus. Experience automating parts of software development relating to building, testing, and deploying using Looper or Jenkins. Experience provisioning the underlying infrastructure environment, virtualizing hosts and hypervisor, networking devices and bare metal servers using configuration management tool Ansible and chef, puppet. Experience building, testing, and deploying applications using virtualization software Docker, Kubernetes, and Concord. Experience providing access, management and development of applications using cloud computing platform Azure. Experience scripting and automating repeating tasks including alerting, storing, Performance metrics using C, Python and Shell and designing maps on java-based applications. Experience configuring Domain name systems for CI/CD applications using DNS load balancer. Experience installing, updating, removing, and managing software package using YUM and RPM. Experience building, publishing, and deploying projects using build tool Maven. Experience with operating systems using windowsXP,8,10, Mac, Linux-RHEL-6,7,8, and Linux.

Salary Range: $182,073/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives
