Job Summary:

This opportunity is 100% work from home from anywhere in the United States.

We're looking for a Sr Software Engineer who wants to have a big impact shaping an innovative and meaningful B2B SaaS solution that helps customers have more meaningful conversations. In this role you will be directly responsible for key product initiatives as we move into the next phase of product expansion at Flowroute. This role will work closely with key leaders in the product and design organizations.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software
• Leading designs of major software components, systems, and features
• Working closely with engineering partners and stakeholders to drive projects through every stage of the development lifecycle
• Using top notch communication skills to mentor on software design, development methodologies, and best practices

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements .
• 4+ years knowledge of one or more mainstream programming language(s) and mainstream development tools
• 4+ years knowledge of Unix/Linux platforms

Awesome if you also have:

• Experience with Python(asyncio), C, TypeScript/JavaScript(Angular and React), Golang
• Experience with RESTful APIs and frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, and Django)
• Experience with SIP, SMPP, SMTP
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases (Postgres, Redshift, and DynamoDB)
• Experience with AWS (CloudFormation, RDS, ECS, Fargate, Elasticache) or other cloud provider experience.
• Experience with Async tasks, queues, and pipelines (Celery, Redis, SNS, SQS, NSQ, Kinesis,*)
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Gitlab and/or Github
