Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

Assists in the development and implementation of various strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain Management Department. Manages the people, process and technology for the procurement and contracting functions across the organization; research, creates and trains others on procurement and contracting best practices; creates and monitors standards of performance and productivity for department staff and suppliers. Ensures all organization procurement is in compliance with all applicable New York State rules, regulations and statutes, and the Roswell Park Procurement Guidelines.
Required Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in Business, Health Administration, or a related field and six (6) years of full-time purchasing or contract management experience in a healthcare, business, or corporate environment, with progressive responsibilities for leadership of others; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, or a related field and eight (8) years of full-time purchasing or contract management experience in a healthcare, business, or corporate environment, with progressive responsibilities for leadership of others.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
