SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER
One of The Select Group's top clients is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing team! This person can sit FULLY REMOTE as long as you are comfortable working Eastern hours. The ideal candidate has a strong background as a Systems Engineer with a focus on working in a virtual Citrix environment. If the below sounds like you, please apply!

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have 6+ years of experience as a systems engineer managing a virtual Citrix environment
    • Citrix ADC
  • Strong background supporting Windows environment
  • Must have Experience with automation, RESTful APIs and scripting using Python or PowerShell
  • Experience managing configurations in a cloud environment
  • Must know how to create VDI machine catalogs
  • Experience with certificates including CSRs, issuing new certificates, SANs, converting certificates and troubleshooting certificate issues
  • Any GCP experience would be a HUGE PLUS

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for mid- to large-sized projects.
  • Provide mentoring to junior team members.
  • Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, debugging, and support for systems software/hardware, including implementation support for multiple infrastructure platforms.
  • Tunes platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. Performs root cause analyses for service interruption recoveries. Creates preventative measures.
  • Identifies and tests processes for automation. Performs configuration prior to the quality assurance process. Conducts quality assurance reviews to ensure standards and best practices are followed.
  • Develops expert knowledge of industry best practices and uses that knowledge to provide technical support to project team members.
  • Provides 24/7 on-call support for assigned systems, including investigating and troubleshooting problems.
  • Interacts with requestors and architects to define system requirements. Translates the requirements into technical specifications. Interchangeably works with technical business-oriented teams.
