POSITION SUMMARY:

The Intern will assist in day-to-day tasks in the office environment along with completing specialized projects. Interns will be able to apply classroom-based knowledge to real life and gain essential skills needed to be career ready.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for working w/marketing team to build a process-supported framework to boost search engine ranking and organic web traffic that can be managed in-house.

Research/analyze ranking opportunities, help create SEO monitoring protocols to allow for in-depth performance reporting. Recommend and make metadata and link improvements. Ability to use Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in marketing, business, communication, or related field of study. Junior or Senior level.

Solid understanding of current SEO/SEM strategies, best practices, processes and content development.

Experience/knowledge of other SEO tools such as Moz, Screaming Frog SEO Spider and SEOquake.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Detailed oriented, responsible, and discrete.

Ability to project prioritize and meet deadlines.

Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentations.

Good written and oral communication skills
