SEDU (Service Experience, Digitize and Unify) is a multiyear, phased strategy to bring all three JCI business units (Fire, Security and HVAC) onto one IT field service platform for call intake and schedule and dispatch. The result will be simplified employee execution and a unified customer experience that enables growth.

With the first phase of SEDU:

  • 1.3M Fire customer accounts will be better served;
  • 8.8K Fire Service employees will be strengthened in capabilities; and
  • $1.0B in Fire Service revenue will be enabled for further growth.

For us to realize the benefits of the program, our affected team members will need the proper training to use the new systems. This is where our team comes in. We're looking for dedicated and dynamic individuals to help drive this change by facilitating sessions and training team members virtually.

What You Will Do

Deliver virtual training using MS Teams Enterprise to participants in one of three work streams: call intake, schedule/dispatch and/or work execution. When not delivering training, you may be acting as a producer for another facilitator, or updating training materials

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in a train-the-program to learn the curricula.
  • Use a professional and engaging approach in the presentation of training programs, employing interactive methods and tools (Mentimeter, Kahoot, etc.)
  • Incorporate training methods supporting all learning styles in the delivery of training programs.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to all class participants before completion of training and progression into job role.
  • Update training materials reflecting process changes or improvements.
  • Complete required administrative tasks and other assigned duties.
  • This is a remote position and any US or Canada location is acceptable

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum of three years of experience delivering training
  • Minimum six months experience delivering virtual training
  • Proficiency with collaboration platforms such as Teams or Zoom
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent oral presentation and communication skills
  • Operational knowledge of Office 365 including Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize

Preferred

  • Fantastic presentation skills
  • Four-year degree in training or education is preferred.
  • Customer Focus; is dedicated to meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers
