SharePoint Developer Intern

About the Position

The SharePoint Developer Intern is responsible for providing front-end support for the application development projects within the SharePoint stack. This role will work in accordance with LGFCU-MIS software development lifecycle to design and develop both custom and OOTB solutions to meet the needs of our internal customers. This position works with all organizational units to address information gaps, identify areas for improvement and uncover other strategic opportunities within the system such as (but not limited to) business process automation. Additional responsibilities include performing system analysis, end-user training and troubleshooting application or production issues.

Normal Day-to-Day Work

  1. Provide application development and technical support for all cross-tenant, site collections within the SharePoint/Office 365 Platform.
  2. Develop and maintain SharePoint systems using Microsoft Development tools.
  3. Provide front-end administration and development in SharePoint 2013/16/SharePoint Online platform to include document management automated workflow, collaboration, messaging and content management.
  4. Develop custom lists, views, libraries and integrate enterprise content within the platform to include content formatting and workflows to meet internal requirements.
  5. Work with senior team members to prepare functional specifications from which solutions are to be designed, built and tested.
  6. Assist in the development, testing and deployment of business process automations for internal customers.


Job Qualifications

Here are a few skills you MUST have to be considered for this position.
  1. Currently seeking a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
  2. Experience in coding in JavaScript, CSS, HTML and jQuery. Knowledge of SPD2013/16/SharePoint Online.
  3. Familiarity with Office 365 Platform, PowerApps and Power Automate.
  4. Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
  5. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer).
  6. Travel required sometimes




This is a paid internship, running May 17 - August 6. All candidates must be able to work on site in Raleigh, NC.
