Overview

We want you to be an integral part of an innovative, creative, and energetic group of team members supporting a government client in Washington, D.C. Steampunk is looking for a SharePoint/Web Developer to support one of our federal customers. The SharePoint/Web Developer will support a dynamic team that provides engineering services across a variety of platforms and technology.
Contributions

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is interested in learning the latest technology and has a proven ability to learn quickly and apply training to solve real world engineering problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of O356 SharePoint Platform and modern pagesKnowledge/ experience developing and deploying SharePoint framework solutions for websitesExperience with SharePoint workflows 2010 and 2013 and SharePoint designer to build forms and Apps Experience in developing SharePoint modern Pages, forms, workflows using power platforms to rebuild from existing to modern experience
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients and solving user requests.
  • Experience planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software; managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment
  • Managing systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability
  • Resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems
  • Integrating hardware and software components within the systems environment
  • Evaluating new systems engineering technologies and their effect on the operating environment managing the installation and integration of systems fixes, updates, and enhancements
Qualifications
  • US Citizen
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience and/or;
  • Associate's Degree, with a preference of Bachelor's degree, or higher, in an IT-related field.
  • Minimum of 1 Technical Certification MCSE: Infrastructure (or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure), MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 or Higher, Red Hat, etc.).
  • Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team. Ability to research and resolve problems efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong system and network troubleshooting ability.
  • Documentation a forethought, including SOP creation, lifecycle, and task management
  • Proactive member of the team - find issues, find solutions; Provide data and metrics to management
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to maintain workload in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Experience supporting systems in Agile and DevOps environments.
