Position Summary

The Cell Leader will be responsible for leading the distribution team to meet the efficiency, safety, and service requirements. The Cell Leader is responsible for overseeing the tactical execution of daily activities surrounding shipping, receiving, and production support in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellence in dispatching, identifying, receiving, and ensuring quality of products
• Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and warehousing activities
• Coach, mentor and lead the shipping and receiving team
• Control and organize storage and inventory space
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments
• Communicate position expectations and train employees
• Identify operations needing development and institute innovations to adjust current work practices and procedures
• Ensure shipping and receiving is compliant with all company and OSHA safety requirements
• Continually coach and develop team; hold personnel accountable for high performance toward company cultural expectations, personal performance goals and activities
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly

Qualifications

Shipping Coordinator Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator position
• Leadership experience
• Preferred medical device and manufacturing experience
• Fork truck experience
• Ability to cross train in other areas of production
• Ability to occasionally: lift 10-50lbs, carry 10-50lbs and to stand, bend and stoop
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
