Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable Shop & Yard Helper to join our team!

Nature of Work: This nonunion position is responsible for providing general support to the shop and yard, along with a variety of other tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties listed below may vary in terms of importance and other duties may be added or eliminated as this position develops.

• Manages and maintains the quality of the yard
• Uses forklift to load and unload trucks
• Washes equipment
• Assists with small tool inventory for assigned location
• Tracks materials used and reports to management
• Acquires parts and supplies as needed

Relevant experience and/or equipment knowledge

Demonstrate strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Self-starter, self-motivated, resourceful, and responsive.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Work will be performed in a shop and yard environment.

Additional time and effort beyond a normal workweek may be required to accomplish company and individual objectives and to provide a high level of service to our clients.

This job may require physicality including: walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting; exerting push and pull forces with arms in order to use various tools and move supplies.
