Basic Job Functions:

The responsibilities of the Slitter Operator include, but are not limited to, willingness to understand and operate the stations within the slitter functions. Performing the duties of each area as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures & Job Safety Analysis; including Routine Preventative Maintenance on the equipment and tooling changes on the mill slitter. The successful candidate will safely work with the team to accomplish production goals. Minimum Qualifications:

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, off shifts, and weekends.

Previous slitter experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Participation in Nucor Leadership training or other PCIP related activities
Experience utilizing computer resources
Actively engaged in Safety performance and improvement
