The Social Worker (Addiction Therapist)will work within Suburban Hospital's Addiction Treatment Center (ATC) offers a broad range of addiction (i.e., alcohol and/or substance abuse) services for adolescents and adults.

The LCSW will provide counseling and education service to all patients of the Addiction Treatment Program.

Develops treatment plans
Initiates counseling assessments
Gains pre-authorizations and continued authorizations for services
Reviews treatment plans and updates as necessary
Conducts educational lectures and small groups
Provides individual counseling
Develops aftercare/discharge plans
Provides statistical data necessary for measuring program effectiveness
Other related duties may be assigned

Requirements:

LCSW is required
Previous experience in addiction field is preferred

Hours:

Part time, 32hrs per week
Mon. - Fri.
Days, 9a - 4:30p (hours are flexible)

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Days, 9a - 4:30p (hours are flexible)
