Overview

i3 is seeking a Test Engineer to provide Test support for the S3I Army Interoperability Lab. The Test Engineer will support testing of software and systems developed at S3I and by third party vendors. The Test Engineer will develop of test procedures, test plans, and test reports. In addition, Test Engineer may be asked to travel to customer specified sites for operational testing, demonstrations and field support. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities

Preferred candidates will have strong knowledge of TCP/IP networks and tools like Wireshark to help debug issue. Additionally they will have strong intuition for intuitive testing, troubleshooting. Often times the Test Engineer will be the first one seeing the software, so they must be able to learn new things with little to no direction or documentations. They should be able to read and interpret software and system requirements.
Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software test.
• 2+ years of experience in C4ISR Army systems.
• Current State Driver's License and US Passport.
• Be willing to periodically travel in the US.
• Software Testing Certification such as ASTQB CTFL preferred.
• Network+ and/or Security+ Certification preferred.
• Active Secret clearance is preferred. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the level of clearance required for this position.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
