What You Will Be Doing As the software engineer you will be responsible for collaborating with management and clients to design and develop software that meet existing requirements, while also creating the technical documentation with all designs and software specifications. You will also be testing and troubleshooting the software on designated devices to ensure quality performance, make adjustments and enhancements as needed and maintain documentation of your findings.
What You Need for this Position - B.S. or higher in CS, Engineering, or STEM programs and a minimum of 5 years with the following:
- C++, Qt, and/or QML
- UI Design
- GitLab-Cl and/or Qt Creator
- LabView, Python and Java
- Development of scientific products and hardware such as: motion controllers, GPIO boards, and/or Devkits
- Embedded software and CI/CD
- Ability to create technical documentation with specifications such as designs and workflows
- Troubleshooting on both the hardware and software end
