ECS is seeking a Space Systems Advisor to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

Job Description:

Candidate sought to provide full-time on-site support to DARPA. The successful candidate will lead activities in project management, technical and programmatic risk analysis, and test coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers, independent verification, and validation (IV&V) entities. Tasks will include technical and proposal writing, analysis, and technical and program material generation to brief new and existing programs in technical environments.

Required Skills:

• Requires DoD TS Clearance
• At least 10 years of total work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a DoD R&D environment.
• Expertise in one or all of the following areas: spacecraft systems and mission design, meta-materials, unmanned systems, or autonomous systems & teaming.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated experience thinking creatively and open to new idea development.
• Experience in successfully proposing new development projects and efforts.
• Engaged and open to dialogue, bringing varying viewpoints that further technical discussions within the program team and upper leadership when it pertains to discussing/creating new program structures or technical solutions.
