Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support a PMA in Lexington Park, MD. This position will function as the Senior Acquisition specialist supporting across the Program Office's IPTs for acquisition support, development and review of documentation, and to help recommend and guide the selection of acquisition strategies, plans and courses of actions for PMA programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Support Acquisition and Procurement planning, including Procurement Planning Conferences, preparing Procurement Planning Agreements, and supporting development of execution plans and schedules to create Program Initiation Documents (PIDs).Prepare acquisition documentation and information (SOWs/PWSs, CDRLs, Security forms, J&As, Sole Source documents, cost estimates/Independent Government Estimates (IGEs) and DD254 (Security Forms).
  • Support development of and preparation of other Acquisition documentation including, but not limited to Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Program Baselines, and acquisition documentation associated with program milestones.
  • Support internal and external communications/responses for queries, data calls, drills, program briefs and other requests for information from internal and external Stakeholders.
  • Manage IPT review, comment, and acceptance of CDRL deliveries, working in coordination with the PMA CDRL Manager
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

The position is contingent upon candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; thereby, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements with respect to COVID-19, as well as any Government or customer site-specific requirements. Requirements typically include but are not limited to proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status, except in circumstances where a candidate is legally entitled to an accommodation.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) - Procurement Management Tool (PMT), Contract Deliverable Requirements List tool (CDRL), and (desired) Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), and experience with associated processes and documents.
  • Senior level knowledge and familiarity with NAVAIR, DoN, and DoD acquisition and requirements directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to create and manage team presentations provided to internal teams, prime contractors, and their subs, as well as senior acquisition and Department of the Navy leadership, as required.
  • Must be an excellent communicator.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline and (12) twelve years of business/acquisition related experience is required
  • Master's and (10) years desired

Desired Requirements

  • Experience with DoD/DoN acquisition documentation to include, but not limited to: Requirements documents, Acquisition Plan/Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, Systems Engineering Plan, Program Life Cycle Cost Estimate, Environmental Plan, Risk Assessment, Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance, and Program Protection Plans.
  • Experience with DoN/DoD Requirements Directives and Policies.
  • Experience with the DoN Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning process, and development of strategies, planning, issue sheet development, and briefs for IPT specific inputs
Other Certifications, ClearanceI-VF1
  • Active Secret clearance is required
  • MUST be a US Citizen
