SEIT SDA O&I / GMI I&T Engineer

Scottsdale, AZ

Contract Position

This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field combiend with 5 + years of relevant work experience; or Master's Degree combined with 3 + years of relevant work experience.
• Agile Experience preferred
• Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
• Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• DevSecOps experience with some of the following platform/tools:
  • AWS
  • GitLab
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Jenkins
  • Ansible
  • Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline development
• Test automation
• Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system
• integration, test, operations experience
• Familiar with Agile philosophies and processes
• Preferred Skills or Experience:
  • Satellite communications knowledge
  • Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
  • Ground operations experience
