Business requirements and projects

• Partner with the Corporate Business Partner and Corporate finance team to understand their business and related needs.
• Determine requirements and estimate effort for all projects while managing project plans on large projects taking into consideration deadlines, dependencies, resources, and costs. Maintains all projects components (dates, status, etc.) in the IS Project Management System.
• Contribute to all project phases - plan, analyze, design, build and test.
• Present project status updates and recommendations to the Corporate Business partner
• Capture and generate functional specification documentation
• Lead the capture and maintenance documentation of work processes.

System and technical responsibilities

• Function as the OneStream technical lead for any design changes and testing for both Accounting and FP&A.
• Efficiently work with the ERP (SAP, IFS, D365...) technical leads and understand how the data integration works in OneStream.
• Ability to design, develop and maintain business rules, forms, workflows, cube views, dashboards, and Quick views in OneStream.
• Ability to create and manage security within OneStream which will include the management of sliced security as needed. Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for Finance users.
• Ability to design and configure OneStream Planning and Financial Close and Consolidation models and calculations to match the business processes to meet process and functional requirements.
• Monitor OneStream system performance, user activity/capacity, and ensure scaled for future growth.
• Creates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all requirements are incorporated into the system design.

System security and Auditing

• Assist with the creation and monitoring of an effective control environment within OneStream, including the ability to write and modify rules.
• Support all system and security Auditing initiatives by providing relevant reporting and working closely with the IS Security and Compliance lead.

Continuous improvement

• Lead the deployment and strategy for OneStream version upgrades and implementation of new market place solutions.
• Plans and designs complex continuous improvement business processes and system modifications. Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities to improve financial closing. Lead Continuous improvement initiatives and leverage new OneStream functionality.

Merger and Acquisitions

• Function as the lead partner for integrating new acquisitions onto OneStream and provide periodic OneStream training sessions.
• Function as the lead technical partner and support smaller legal entities in completing the close (loads in OneStream)

PowerBI reporting

• Assists Corporate IS BI team with reporting outside of the OneStream, primarily through Power BI. Leverages knowledge of primarily ERPs and OneStream to create integrated reporting solutions.

ISIT Financial support

• Partners with Corporate IS management to analyze financial performance within the IS function, explaining variances, prioritizing risk mitigation and cost savings opportunities, and presenting these to management.
• Partner with the IS PMO team to generate all project financials reporting requirements (Budget, Actuals, Capital projects reporting)

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information science, Finance, Business administration, or another technical / business field is required.
• Master's degree in information science or business administration is highly desired.
• Overall 5+ years of experience in IS:
  • 5+ years of experience in business applications management
  • Minimum 2+ years related experience working with OneStream
• Solid understanding of core Finance consolidation, processes, and terminology.
• Project management skills are required.
• Experience working with OneStream is a must.

Skills and Abilities

• Understanding of programming languages used within OneStream including VB.NET and SQL
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
• Interface with the "customer" is critical, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
• Capable of crafting solution based on solid understanding of business needs.
• Candidate must be able to present information and ideas with a clear understanding of their audience.
• Strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, diligence, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Accounting degree / skills a plus

Base Salary Range for this position is: $97,000 to $125,000, and bonus target is 3%; shift premium may be available depending on shift associated with the specific job opportunity. Benefits including Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA), Retirement and Security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance. During the first year of employment, employees may accrue up to 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO), equivalent to 120 hours. Employees receive 13 paid holidays. In addition to Paid Time Off and paid Holidays, each employee receives 16 hours paid time each calendar year to perform volunteer services for Nordson-sponsored events. The base salary pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills.
