Role:

The Senior FP&A Analyst is to be a trusted resource and business partner to the division's senior leadership team. This position is responsible for assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, developing financial models, as well as performing research and ad hoc analysis as required by leadership. They may also be responsible for assisting with monthly close process and financial reporting, while providing project teams with financial guidance.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop financial projections and build financial models
  • Perform monthly financial analysis for management reporting
  • Directly support compilation of board and executive team reporting
  • Understand key business drivers and assist with developing KPI reporting
  • Assist project teams with financial guidance
  • Become a true business partner to Operations leadership, to help improve operational strategies and performance
  • Other special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, Master's Degree preferred
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Experience in private equity backed company and/or middle market preferred
  • Experience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision framework
  • Experience supporting M&A activities preferred
  • Experience working directly with operations management and senior leadership
  • Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to present clear and concise financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to build reports and models that are scalable for a high-growth organization
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Power Pivot preferred
  • Good working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting and forecasting methodologies for sales, job costing, and balance sheet metrics
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Physical requirements:
  • Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
  • Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
  • Ability to travel on occasion
