Job Description Summary

This position reports to the International Tax Director within the Corporate Tax Team and will have primary job responsibilities around international tax compliance matters at a US Federal and international level. Additionally, the position will be involved with tax accounting, audits and planning in all areas of tax, and with specific focus on the international operations of the Company.

Job Description

  • Assist with U.S. tax reporting (e.g. Forms 5471, 8865, 8858) for the Company's numerous foreign subsidiaries, including the reporting of transactions impacting the international operations.
  • Assist with the computation and reporting of US international tax computations including GILTI,163(j) limitations applicable to the foreign operations, FDII, BEAT and the FTC. (Forms 5713, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8893 and 1118).
  • Assist with the coordination of and review of foreign country tax filings.
  • Assist with the completion of federal and foreign tax audits including responding to auditor information requests and completing tax analysis.
  • Assist with tax research and planning involving international tax as the Company continues to expand internationally.
  • Assist with ASC 740 analysis for international operations, including US international tax related computations such as GILTI, FDII and FTC.
  • Assist with documentation and testing of internal controls as required by Sarbanes Oxley.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with Accounting Emphasis.
  • Advanced degree, CPA or other professional designation preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in the tax field, with at least 2 years of experience preparing federal. U.S. tax filings for controlled foreign corporations and calculation of US international tax computations such as Subpart F, GILTI, FDII and FTC.
  • Public accounting firm experience is preferred.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to balance attention to detail with broader goals and time limitations.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough tax research and develop supportable tax positions.
  • Proven ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion in deadline driven environment.
  • Proven ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven record of good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record as a team player.
  • Competency with MS Office software and electronic tax research tools (e.g.: CCH, RIA, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP and CSC Corptax provision and compliance tools desired, but not required.
