Job Description:

Contributing member of tax team in a dynamic project-based role that is responsible for coordinating and managing key aspects of the tax positions of Greif's international subsidiaries. The position will report to the Director International Tax and will work collaboratively with members of the Tax, Finance, Legal and other business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain documentation related to tax planning transactions
• Assist on the analysis of past and future transactions
• Prepare international statements required for U.S. corporate tax return
• Assist in determining and analyzing risk related to uncertain tax positions and prepare related memos
• Track impact of non-US transactions for compliance and provision purposes
• Maintain documentation and schedules related to intercompany cost charges and work with financial planning and analysis team
• Gather and maintain detail related to intercompany transactions for preparation of transfer pricing documentation
• Compile and organize documentation requested by tax authorities as part of worldwide corporate income tax audits
• Assist on tax planning projects including meeting with tax advisors and modeling impact of proposed transactions
• Special projects as needed, which may include M&A, due diligence, and structuring

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of Corporate tax experience with US multinational or public accounting firm

Knowledge and Skills

• Working knowledge of federal and international income tax law
• Strong technical and analytic skills and proficient in tax research and writing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and execute within a global environment
• Great work ethic and integrity
